Our Precision Sheetmetal Fabrication Unit caters to the specific manufacturing needs of our customers. The focus of our team is to implement efficient sheetmetal manufacturing processes developed by our Design, Engineering and Prototyping staff.
Kal Tool's approach to sheetmetal design, prototype and process engineering ensure the development of cost effective sheetmetal products. Our sheetmetal equipment includes Amada brakes with the capabilities to do large forming of precision sheetmetal products. Our punching and cutting capabilities of sheetmetal include equipment with both laser and punching capabilities. Amada Apelios with CNC precision laser and precision punching can add flexibility to our fabrication schedule.
CNC presses and conventional punch presses from 30 to 600 ton capacities provide manufacturing capabilities in materials ranging from .005" thick to .125" thick.
Lower volume requirements are focused in our sheetmetal
fabrication division. CNC punching programs are generated from customer data files, or designs provided by our
own Product Development Team.
Kal Tool also supports customer individual piece part requirements by either conventional batch manufacturing or JIT. Shipping
requirements driven by MRP or JIT are manufactured and shipped in accordance to either a flexible customer demand-pull, or a fixed shipping schedule.
